The Standard Bank Awards are presented every year to corporates in several categories. The competition is fierce and companies qualify by being nominated by various organisations.
One of the most competitive titles, the Standard Bank Top Women’s Award for Skills Development 2017, was awarded to Dimension Data Britehouse. They were nominated for their project which involved training unemployed township women in the NQF Level 4 Early Childhood Development Qualification, thereby helping develop and upskill people in marginalised communities. Training Force obtained accreditation for the qualification and additional electives which will result in the successful achievement of a 176 credit nationally recognised certificate. Britehouse also received the award for their Hello Tutor programme.
The entire course was run through a digitized platform, with all the course material provided by Training Force. This was funded by Britehouse and the Diepsloot Preschools Project (DPP).
Training Force successfully facilitated the Early childhood development course. The project was funded through the DPP’s fund raising events and their generous corporate sponsors during 2016 and 2017.
